Indian Coal Forum (ICF) is an autonomous non-profit non-Government Organization launched on 3rd July 1998. Since its inception ICF has functioned as "Think Tank" for Indian Coal Industry highlighting impediments in its growth at National and International Forum.
It has been ICF's endeavor to facilitate public and private sector coal companies in various aspects of planning, development and efficient production and utilization of coal with environment friendly clean coal technologies.
A conglomeration of pioneers in coal and allied industry provides a ready reckoner for companies and individuals involved in execution of policies and projects especially on technology and methodologies, which are constantly being upgraded to make production efficient and clean. ICF keeps a regular tab on the technological enhancements through our diverse channels encompassing global bodies like World Mining Congress, World Coal Institute and European Technology Platform etc.
Suggest improvement in curriculum of educational institutions to match the needs of the Coal Industry.
Develop Coal Industry specific learning modules and organize HRD programs for the benefit of the coal companies executives non executives and the people associated with Coal Industry.
Organize exhibitions at micro and macro levels.
Plan & undertake sponsored case studies & research projects for improvements in management systems and technical up gradation.
Plan and collaborate in management of environmental projects and develop schemes & projects for utilization of fly ash and washery rejects.
